About SacramentoGardening.com

Angela, 1967, SacramentoAngela PrattSince January, 2002, SacramentoGardening.com has housed a collection of the best regional gardening resources native Sacramentan, horticulturist and web junkie Angela Pratt could get her dirt-covered hands on. After realizing that the web was becoming an increasingly rich resource for gardeners and that the most useful gardening information came from those who know about our long growing season, insatiable appetite for compost, ability to grow everything from apples to oranges to tomatoes to Chinese ground orchids, Angela put down her horticulture degree and picked up a mouse. She's been holding that mouse ever since.

The web has become an exciting place for gardeners; and because Angela enjoys cyberchatting over the fence with other avid gardeners, she also has a blog. Who doesn't these days?

Angela is also quite handy with a digital camera and quite grateful she took typing in high school, for without the ability to tap her thoughts quickly onto the page, she wouldn't be blogging or maintaining this website.
