This is by no means a complete list. It's just the stuff I grow or happen to see in my travels around town with my digital camera. If you see something on the list that's no longer blooming, or that is blooming and I've failed to mention it, please drop me an e-mail. Thanks! Also, if you see something on this month's list that isn't blooming yet, it's on there because it will be soon... as in this month. Some photos are archived from previous years.

WANT TO TAKE BETTER FLOWER & GARDEN PHOTOS?
1. Go digital. Just do it. Come on. Come-awwwwwn!
2. Get Photoshop Elements for image processing (cropping, resizing, color tweaking, etc.)

3. Buy a Lastolite 30" Circular Collapsible Disc Reflector / Diffuser, Translucent so you can shoot in sun and shade. A diffuser is a Sacramento photographer's best friend.

4. Learn.

5. Shoot whenever you can to improve your craft. I'm amazed by how bad some of my older shots are. It takes time to get to know a particular camera and to get to know yourself as a photographer. Digital cameras are so capable these days there's no excuse not to give one a try.

6. Share your photos.
